MRTX-1719 is a potent first-in-class selective inhibitor of the PRMT5/MTA complex, with an IC50 of less than 10 nM in PRMT5/MTA MTAPDEL SDMA cells[1]. MRTX-1719 is a molecule that specifically targets the PRMT5/MTA complex, essential for several cellular processes like regulating gene expression and remodeling chromatin. By inhibiting this complex, MRTX-1719 disrupts its role in maintaining cellular homeostasis, leading to potential therapeutic benefits in cancers where this pathway is dysregulated.
