Baeocystin-d4 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of baeocystin by GC- or LC-MS. Baeocystin is categorized as a tryptamine.1 It is an intermediate in the biosynthesis of psilocybin in mushrooms.2 Unlike psilocybin, baeocystin does not induce the head-twitch response (HTR) in mice. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
