Adenosine-5'-O-diphospho-(1''-(4-nitrophenoxy)-ribose) is a nitrophenyl ribose-modified nucleotide and colorimetric substrate for poly(ADP-ribose) polymerase 1 (PARP1).1 PARP1 binds and drolyzes adenosine-5'-O-diphospho-(1''-(4-nitrophenoxy)-ribose) to release p-nitrophenol, which can be quantified by colorimetric detection at 405 nm as a measure of PARP1 activity.
