Azidobutyric acid NHS ester is a heterobifunctional crosslinker mainly used for the azido labeling of amino-containing biomolecules[1]. The azido group (-N3) can participate in click chemistry reactions, such as reacting with alkynes, DBCO (dibenzocyclooctyne), and BCN (bicyclo[6.1.0]non-4-yne) under copper catalysis to form stable triazole rings[2,3,4]. NHS ester (N-hydroxysuccinimide) is a commonly used reactive group for primary amines. It can react with primary amines to form stable amide bonds, facilitating the efficient labeling of target molecules[5]. The chemical formula of Azidobutyric acid NHS ester is C8H10N4O4, with a molecular weight of 226.19. This product is for research use only and is not intended for food, drugs, medical devices, or cosmetics.
