Cupressuflavone (40-160 mg/kg; p.o. once daily for 5 days) exerts a beneficial effect against oxidative stress by enhancing the antioxidant defense status, reducing lipid peroxidation, and protecting against the pathological changes induced by CCl4 in the liver and kidney tissues[1].
Cupressuflavone (40-160 mg/kg; p.o.) inhibits paw edema by 55, 60, and 64% at the three doses of 40, 100, and 160 mg/kg, respectively in the carrageenan-induced paw edema model of inflammation[2].
