Description of HBP08 (trifluoroacetate salt)

HBP08 is a peptide inhibitor of the protein-protein interaction between chemokine (C-X-C motif) ligand 12 (CXCL12) and high mobility group protein B1 (HMGB1).[1] It binds to HMGB1 (Kd = 0.8 µM) and inhibits HMGB1-induced inhibition of CXCL12-induced migration of 300-19 pre-B cells expressing human chemokine (C-X-C motif) receptor 4 (CXCR4).
