Isodiospyrin is a natural dimeric naphthoquinone and an inhibitor of human DNA topoisomerase I (topoisomerase) enzyme. Isodiospyrin can prevent DNA relaxation and kinase activity of human topoisomerase I. Isodiospyrin has anti-cancer, antibacterial, and antifungal activities.
