MTDB-alkyne is a clickable RNA pseudoknot binder.1 It is composed of the β-coronavirus pseudoknot ligand MTDB that has been functionalized with a clickable alkyne group. MTDB-alkyne has been used in the synthesis of proximity-induced nucleic acid degrader (PINAD) molecules for the degradation of severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) RNA.
