ε-NAADP+ is a fluorescent derivative of the calcium mobilization inducer NAADP .1 It induces calcium release in sea urchin egg homogenates (EC50 = 5 µM). ε-NAADP+ displays excitation/emission maxima at 275 and 410 nm, respectively, and its relative emission increases three-fold in DMSO.
