Description Chemical Properties Product Documents

Cholesterol-PEG(2000)-biotin is a biotinylated and PEGylated form of cholesterol . It has been used as a lipid anchor to immobilize vesicles, liposomes, viral particles, bacteria, or yeast to microfluidic chips.[1] As a lipid anchor, cholesterol-PEG(2000)-biotin (10 µM) increases phycoerythrin-conjugated streptavidin density on the surface of mesenchymal stem cells greater than sulfo-NHS-LC-biotin.[2]
