Cixutumumab (IMC-A12) is a humanized monoclonal antibody with high affinity for IGF-1R, which inhibits ligand-dependent receptor activation and downstream signaling. Cixutumumab also mediates the internalization and degradation of IGF-IR. Cixutumumab has broad-spectrum anti-tumor activity and can be used in the study of cancers such as lung cancer, malignant tumors, leukemia, non-small cell lung cancer, and prostate cancer.
