Stigmasterol est un stérol naturellement disponible. Stigmasterol a des effets anti-arthritiques et anti-inflammatoires significatifs[1-3].
Stigmasterol (0-100μM;14 h) a inhibé la mort cellulaire neuronale induite par le glutamate dans les cellules HT-22[4]. Stigmasterol (0-20μM;4 h) a atténué la réponse inflammatoire induite par les oligomères Aβ42 dans les cellules BV2[5].
Stigmasterol (400 mg/kg/j ; i. g ; 10 jours) atténue la colite induite par le DSS chez les souris[6]. Stigmasterol (100 mg/kg;i.p;21-27jours) inhibe l'inflammation et le stress oxydatif dans un modèle murin d'asthme par NK1-R[7]. Dans l'hippocampe des souris APP/PS1, Stigmasterol a supprimé l'activation de la microglie[8], et Stigmasterol a également réduit les niveaux de TNF-α dans le cortex des souris albinos suisses[9].

Méthode de préparation | Les souris asthmatiques ont été divisées en groupe OVA, groupe stigmastérol et groupe stigmastérol + protéine rh-NK1R (Stig-NK1R). Dans les groupes correspondants, 100 mg/kg de stigmastérol et 100 μg de rh-NK1R ont été injectés par voie intrapéritonéale aux souris les jours 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26 et 27 avant l'exposition à l'OVA. |
