Fluorescein-12-UTP is a fluorescein-labeled uridine triphosphate (UTP) analog that can be used as a substrate catalyzed by T3/T7/SP6 RNA polymerase and reverse transcriptase to replace UTP in in vitro transcription reactions for RNA mark[1]. Labeled RNA can be detected directly by fluorescence or indirectly by using an anti-luciferin horseradish peroxidase (HRP) or alkaline phosphatase (Alkaline Phosphatase, AP) conjugated antibody [2].
