シクロピンP1（SWLSKTAKKLENSAKKRISEGIAIAIQGGPR）は、豚の腸から分離された昆虫セクロピンのホモログであり、最初の哺乳動物抗菌ペプチドと考えられていました。後の研究では、このペプチドが腸内寄生性線虫アスカリス・スームによって産生されることが示されました。31個のアミノ酸からなるこのペプチドはグラム陰性細菌に対して非常に強力ですが、グラム陽性細菌に対する活性は低下しています。細菌膜への妨害効果が抗微生物活性のメカニズムとして提唱されています。
