Coelenterazine (Synonyms: Luciferin (Oplophorus), Preluciferin (Watasenia))

Coelenterazine은 Renilla luciferase (Rluc)와 Gaussia luciferase (Gluc)와 같은 여러 효소의 기질이자 아쿠아채널린의 보조 인자이다.널리 사용되며 살아있는 세포에서의 칼슘 농도 검출, gene reporter assays, BRET (Bioluminescence Resonance Energy Transfer) 연구, ELISA, HTS, 조직이나 세포에서의 ROS 수준의 화학발광 검출 등에 사용될 수 있다.

체외실험에서, Coelenterazine은 RAW 264.7 세포의 산소 분출을 동적으로 모니터링할 수 있도록 한다. Coelenterazine의 화학발광은 세포 유래 myeloperoxidase의 활성에 의존하지 않은다. 이것은 매우 민감하고 특이적인 초산화아니온 화학발광 탐지기이다. Coelenterazine은 보관에 의존하는 높은 배경 화학발광에 취약하지만, 사전 환원을 필요로 하지 않기 때문에 더 신뢰할 수 있는 탐지기이다.

체내에서 coelenterazine chemiluminescent focal의 국위와 크기는 초기의 림상전변화가 발생하였다.시판되고있는 coelenterazine (DMSO에 용해될수 있다.)은 coelenterazine luciferase의 체내 생물발광이미징에 민감한 기질이다.
