Fluostatin A is a fluorenone originally isolated from Streptomyces.1 It selectively inhibits dipeptidyl peptidase 3 (DPP-3) over DPP-1, DPP-2, and DPP-4 (IC50s = 0.44, >100, >100, and >100 µg/ml, respectively).
