Guanosine-5'-O-triphosphoro-γ-1-(5-sulfonic acid)naphtlamidate (GTP-γ-AmNS) is a fluorescent derivative of GTP .1,2 It has been used as a substrate for snake venom phosphodiesterases (PDEs) and to monitor tubulin assembly in cell-free assays. GTP-γ-AmNS displays excitation/emission maxima of 340 and 460 nm, respectively.
