5,7,8-Trimethoxydictamnine is a quinoline alkaloid that has been found in Rutaceae and has antimalarial activity.1 It is active against chloroquine-sensitive and -resistant strains of P. falciparum (IC50s =19.9 and 5.72 µg/ml, respectively).
