ADB-PINACA is an analog of AKB48, the pentyl indazole with structural similarity to JWH 018 adamantyl carboxamide and STS-135, which are synthetic cannabinoids (CBs) with potential to be sold for recreational abuse.[1] ADB-PINACA pentanoic acid metabolite is an expected compound produced by phase I metabolism of ADB-PINACA in vivo, based on the metabolism of comparable alkylindole CBs.[2],[3] The physiological and toxicological properties of this compound have not been determined. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
