ZLDI-8 es un inhibidor de la enzima ADAM-17 que activa/escinde Notch e inhibe la escisiÓn de la proteÍna Notch. ZLDI-8 disminuye la expresiÓn de proteÍnas relacionadas con la transiciÓn epitelial-mesenquimal (EMT) y pro-supervivencia/anti-apoptosis. ZLDI-8 también es un inhibidor competitivo e irreversible de la tirosina fosfatasa (Lyp) con una IC50 de 31,6 μM y una Ki de 26,22 μM. ZLDI-8 inhibe el crecimiento de células MHCC97-H con un IC50 de 5,32μM.
