Temozolomide acid is an active metabolite of the alkylating agent precursor temozolomide .1 It is cytotoxic to TLX5 murine lymphoma cells in a concentration-dependent manner. Temozolomide acid is also a synthetic intermediate in the synthesis of temozolomide prodrugs with anticancer activity.2
